Centuries Old Healing Method
SHAMANISM – Shamanic Sessions
Shamanism is part of many indigenous medicine ways across the globe and refers to the practice of moving into unseen worlds for the sake of healing and wisdom.
Traditionally, the shaman travels into “the dreamworld,” the world of spirit and energy, to bring about changes that translate through the energy layers and into the world of the group-member (client). By restoring balance in the energy realms, shamanic work restores balance and well-being on mental, emotional, and physical levels.
In a shamanic session, Dr Suzanne may trace a current challenge back to its origins – she may find an event, experience, emotion, or injury that has been carried forward because it still needs completion, and is getting in the way of the present day in some way. Dr Suzanne then works to complete and close the event in the energy world, so that any “destructive” ties to that moment in time are dissolved, and the client moves forward lighter, clearer, and more free.
Or, Dr Suzanne may find it is not necessary to trace a trouble back to its beginnings. Sometimes, it is enough to simply find the best solution for now, the best way to heal, now. In this case, Dr Suzanne retrieves the information most needed for the client to repair the issue or address the challenge. This kind of guidance may be all that is required to restore the client to wellness.
A shamanic sessions usually last about 90 minutes, and can be done remotely or in-person. The remote (long-distance) sessions are just as successful as the in-person since the work is done in the energy world. The shamanic work can help with:
- Chronic Anxiety and Depression
- Chronic Pain
- Non-Healing Physical Wounds
- Emotional “Stuckness”
- Non-Specific Fears
- Challenges with Weight and Body Image
